I have a technology that allows individuals to create custom interfaces for mobile devices. It allows you to completely redesign all the elements of the interface (signal strength, battery, message indicator, etc...) and include custom elements you choose (links to sites, applications). The technology takes your design and turns it into a functional interface which can be downloaded by a device. Once on the phone it becomes the default interface of the phone and fucntions just like the standard interface users are used to.
Now, I'm looking for some folks that would are interested in making mobiles more usable, dynamic, interesting to put some interfaces together. I'm not trying to sell you a product or charge you for anything. I just want to see what some talented people can do with the technology. Drop me a line if you are interested.

Re: Mobile interface designers
Sun, December 19, 2004 - 8:34 AMHi Vlad,
The first release is available on the Symbian platform, series 60 and UIQ devices. The full list is here: www.symbian.com/phones/index.html. We support all the ones on that list except for the Japanese FOMA devices.
There is a full design guideline that will be available in the next couple of weeks that I can send directly to you. Drop me a line at hansmeet [at] onskreen [dot] com and I will send it to you directly.
Thanks for the response.

Sun, December 19, 2004 - 3:28 AMSounds interesting... sounds similar to appsforphones: appsforphones.com/
What do you plan to do with the applications that might be developed? -

Re: Mobile interface designers
Mon, December 20, 2004 - 2:59 AMThe same idea of rapid development without writing code, but we are allowing you to actually create a functional interface for the main screen of the phone. Although it is a mobile application, the end user can just see it as a new way to interact with their device.
The interfaces developed from people here would be for you to use or share with others. For non-commercial purposes we are waiving licensing fees for now.
